You will need:

-8 pieces of paper

-Tape

-4 Rubber Bands

-A glue stick (optional)

-Scissors

-A bottle cap

Starting at the corner of the paper, roll it into a tight tube and tape it to secure it.

You may put glue on the paper before you roll or simply secure it with tape. Roll a second sheet of paper over the first, to make the tube durable.

Make 4 paper tubes (Each tube being rolled twice) = 8 sheets of paper. Set aside.

Using the scissors, the parent can cut a hole on both sides of the bottle cap. I ended up using a lighter to heat the tip of the scissor point. It helped a bit, but it still took a lot of muscle.

String a rubber band on each side.

Loop a second set of rubber bands. (As many as you need really)

Fold the tube in the middle like a V shape. Put one leg of the tube though the rubber band. Repeat for the other side. Secure with tape.

Tape the two bottom legs together. Press the tube apart to create the Y Shape. Place the 3rd tube through the Y.

Place the fourth tube across the Y.

Secure all legs together with tape and you are done!

Ta-Da! Try using Salad Croutons, coins, or any small item to shoot in the sling shot.
